Sterilization Monitoring

The Famos range of Sterility Assurance Products (SAP) consists of products with chemical indicators used to check the sterilisation process. The advantage of chemical indicators is that after sterilisation they are immediately available for readout and recording. The indicators are available as ISO 11140-1 Class 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 chemical indicators, tests by independent micro-biological laboratories are available for our SAP as evidence of conformity to relevant standards

Lot / Batch Control Test (HELIX TEST)

Lot Control Test Sets are all based on Helix type process Challenging Devices (PCD’s) in which an integrating chemical indicator is placed.

The Lot Control Test Set is used by many clinics to check sterilization conditions &
paremeters with each cycle/batch. The advantage these Helix Lot control tests give is:
The early detection of non-condensable gases, vacuum failures, & steam penetration
in hollow devices with narrow lumen (Hollow type A & B loads).
