Terms and Conditions – Trading
New and Established Customers
Welcome to Majac Medical Products Pty Ltd. Should you have any
enquiry regarding products, ordering, services or any matter that
we can assist with then please do not hesitate to contact us.
Ordering Information
When placing please quote the business name of your practice or
business, the delivery address, if separate, your telephone number
and list the items, size, or model of the products required. GPDirect™customers
need only to use the required process.
Prices
We strive to maintain a “Best Price” for Quality Products
policy but sometimes manufacturers’ increases cannot be
avoided and prices are therefore subject to change without notice.
Payment Terms
All orders will be supplied with the invoice attached or enclosed.
Invoices are net 20 days on receipt of goods. If the invoice is
missing then please contact us immediately.
Accounts Statements are issued monthly should the account be paid
then please ignore same. Nil balance statements are not issued.
Most accounts are paid either by cheque or predominately via Electronic
Funds Transfer. Our bank details are printed on the bottom left
side of the invoice.
GST
All prices quoted in The Majac Medical Products Pty Ltd or the
GPDirect™ price Schedule do not include GST.
Claims and Returns
All items must be returned within 14 days. We will endeavor to
assist any legitimate claims.
Please follow the format under listed and we will do our best
to process your request.
1. Damaged or Defective goods. - Any damaged or defective goods
will be replaced or refunded at no additional cost.
2. General returns - All product returns must be within 14 days
from our invoice date. The goods should be unopened and in original
packaging. Special orders, i.e. non stock items, may not be returned
without prior approval. Products ordered incorrectly will be returned
at the customer’s expense and responsibility. Returned products
may be subject to a restocking charge of up to 15%. Credit may
not include refund of the original freight charge.
3. All returns have to be pre approved.
Delivery & Freight
Delivery: to most metropolitan areas is 1-2 days, some provincial
cities or towns are 2-3 days other areas may take from 2-5 days.
Urgent goods can be via air etc if the occasion arises.
Freight Charges: We are aware
of the ever increasing costs incurred on the practice in today’s
environment with fuel and insurance costs escalating so dramatically
and every effort is made to guarantee not just competitive product
prices but assistance with the freight charges but on some larger
or heavy items additional costs can not be avoided. Under listed
is a Freight Rates Schedule.
General Rates: A delivery fee
is applicable on most orders. Special rates are applicable for
members of the R.A.C.G.P. That are GPDirect™
participants. Please refer to GPDirect™
web site for these rates.
Larger or heavy items: Some
larger or heavy items are packed in crates or heavy duty cartons
for protection during transit. E.g. The height adjustable Exam
Couch, Sterilisers, Instrument trolleys or other large items.
We have a schedule of the rates under listed once again with the
proviso; Remote areas are subject to negotiation depending on
Freight Service availability.
Examination Couches Freight & Handling
is: $175.00 to all metropolitan areas to include:
Melbourne / Sydney / Wollongong / Newcastle / Canberra / Brisbane
/ GoldCoast / SunshineCoast / Rockhampton / Mackay / Townsville
/ Cairns / Adelaide / Perth / Hobart. Remote areas and some country
towns may have a surcharge depending on Freight availability &
cost.
Sterilisers Freight & Handling is: $80.00
to all metropolitan areas to include:
Melbourne / Sydney / Wollongong / Newcastle / Canberra / Brisbane
/ GoldCoast / Sunshine Coast / Rockhampton / Mackay / Townsville
/ Cairns / Adelaide / Perth / Hobart. Remote areas and some country
towns may have a surcharge depending on Freight availability &
cost.
Steriliser Validation & Calibration: Should
the practice not have a regular Service Provider we can arrange
for a technician to install and provide validation in accordance
with the requirements of the Standard AS/NZS4815 for a $260.00
Validation fee. Once again, remote areas and some country towns
may have a surcharge depending on the technician’s itinerary
plus travel time and associated costs.
We consider delivery, freight and handling to
be important components, not only from the cost perspective but
also from the logistical perspectives because there is not much
value in receiving goods or equipment (even if goods are delivered
free of charge) that are not functional. At Majac Medical Products
Pty Ltd we have arrangements with Freight Companies that Guarantee
a Quality Service.
They are Australia Post, Fastways, Allied Transport, Direct Freight,
TNT and Australian air Express all these are established Freighters
with a good reputation, Australia wide.
